Part two of the appointment will be in the clinic and if appropriate with your permission, will involve a pelvic floor examination.  We will then form a treatment plan together.

Treatments may include:

  • Pelvic floor strengthening
  • Pelvic floor downtraining (if the muscles are overactive)
  • Bladder or bowel training for urgency
  • Manual therapy
  • Muscle stimulator machine
  • Biofeedback machine
