Do you want the hit the ball further at golf?
We have had lots of golfers attend our classes over the years and when we started to increase the weights we were using, they commented that they were hitting the ball further. Linda (our resident golfer) noticed that she was too. So we started a new class!
This class is specifically for golfers and the aim is to strengthen the muscles that you use for power for your golf swing. This includes your abdominal muscles (particularly the obliques), shoulders and wrists and hips. We also work on flexibility (especially the upper back) and balance, all core aspects of the golf swing.
Classes are all run on Zoom and are on Fridays at 12.15. For the class, you will need a mat, cushion, stretchy band and a short golf club. We will let you know if you need anything else.
There are eight classes in the set and the cost is €120. If you do a second class in the week (it doesn’t have to be the golf class), it will only cost €5. Please note that if you wish to cancel, you need to give at least 3 hours notice. Late cancellations or no shows are charged €5.
CLASS TIMETABLE
Pilates classes are run in sets (with the exception of Post-Natal Pilates) and the date below each Pilates class indicates when the next set starts. Other classes can be joined at any time. At the moment, all are classes are being run on Zoom. We may be able to have one to four in the clinic depending on the Covid restrictions that are in place at the time.
